Membership

HRIA currently has over 500 corporate members and is growing. The HRIA consists of a national executive committee and five state committees (New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia).

Services to members

Education & Training

HRIA offers a variety of hire and rental specific training programmes for owners, managers and employees, including Young Professionals Network and Women in Hire & Access, Chain of Responsibility and HRIA Apprenticeship & Traineeship Scheme.

Safety & Risk Management

Improving safety and developing product training and instruction for end users, including information sheets, online training and videos, etc.

Business Support

HRIA support services include risk management advice and packages, industry advice lines on HR, workplace relations, accounting, and business advisory services as well as master agreements and HRIA Insurance, among others.

Networking

The HRIA hosts seminars, workshops, yard tours and regular networking activities across Australia. We also host the annual HRIA Convention and Exhibition, which all members are invited to attend.

Industry Representation

The HRIA provides national and state representation on key industry issues and standards. The association also flags and updates members on legislative changes impacting hire operations.

Growing the Industry

The HRIA assists in growing the hire industry in Australia through showcasing the benefits of hire through campaigns and toolkits provided to members, the member directory and engaging with other industry associations and the government.
